Students enjoy a variety of classes, simply for the joy of learning - no grades, no tests, no stress.
Selecting from over one hundred offerings, there is something for everyone, with classes in literature, history, humanities, art, and so much more. A few selections for the upcoming winter semester include: Meet the Players: Rhode Island’s Revolutionary Leaders, Barns of Rhode Island: A Vanishing Landscape, Of Earth and Sky: An Introduction to Astronomy, and Russian Classical Music (1850-1950) along with many more diverse offerings. OLLI members also enjoy special interest groups like the book group, the photography group and the popular game play Mahjongg.
OLLI courses range from one time presentations to two to six week class sessions. Most classes are one and one-half hours in length, with new classes beginning every week.
