People's Credit Union Promotes Eric Soares to Head of IT Operations and Jordan Faustino to Systems Administrator
Affirms Commitment to Strategic Team Growth and Development
 
People’s Credit Union announced the promotions of Eric Soares to Head of IT Operations and Jordan Faustino to Systems Administrator I. Reporting to the Head of IS & Technology, Mr. Soares will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and talent development of the Helpdesk Technician and Systems Administrator I roles. He will also be responsible for the Credit Union’s helpdesk program including service metrics. In his new role, reporting to the Head of IT Operations, Mr. Faustino will provide support, upgrades, and troubleshooting of various applications for the Helpdesk program, including the TeamDynamix ticketing system, and will administer and deploy desktops and laptops throughout the organization.

Mr. Soares began his career at People’s Credit Union in 2015 as a Member Helpdesk Support Analyst. After a brief tenure as a Client Computing Support Analyst for Hasbro, he returned to the Credit Union in 2022 as a Systems Administrator, successfully completing PCU's Emerging Leaders program the same year. As the Head of IT Operations, he will also administer and maintain aspects of the Microsoft 365 suite of products. Mr. Soares holds an AS in Computer Science from Bristol Community College and a BS in Software Engineering from Southern New Hampshire University.
 
Mr. Faustino earned his promotion after two years as a Helpdesk Technician, where he closed more than 1,000 tickets and received outstanding service reports on internal surveys. As Systems Administrator I, he will also have a security focus in the department working and investigating all security alerts received from various applications and security operations vendors. He earned an AS in Cybersecurity along with a Cyber Defense Certificate from the Community College of Rhode Island, as well as three letters of merit from Cisco.
